6‑month cash assistance is Transitional Rent that provides up to six months of rental assistance for eligible Medi Cal members who are exiting homelessness, leaving an institution, or transitioning from interim housing. This benefit is paid for directly by the member’s Medi Cal health plan, which provides short term rental support to help members remain housed while they stabilize and connect to ongoing services.
